A yummy chocolate icing that you can use to ice brownies, cookies or blondies! Super easy and just one bowl! The icing is soft and has a frosting-like consistency, but super chocolatey and dairy-free.
I used this Chocolate Icing recipe to top my Elvis Cookie Cups (and then added sprinkles of course!!).
Chocolate IcingPrint Recipe
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons hot water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
In a medium sized bowl, add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, water and vanilla extract and stir. Add more water for a thinner consistency or more powdered sugar if you want a thicker consistency. Immediately top cookies, brownies, bars or whatever goodie that you are icing.
Let icing set on your treats before storing them.
Store at room temperature in an airtight container.
