Cookies/ Desserts

Cookie Exchange!

This year I participated in the first annual Food Blogger Love Cookie Exchange.  It was a fun event where you make three dozen cookies and send one dozen cookies to each of the three bloggers you are randomly paired up with.  In return you get one dozen cookies sent to you from three different bloggers.  Cookies galore!!  It was such a fun way to meet new bloggers and super fun getting cookies in the mail!  I definitely will participate next year.

I made these Chocolate Pudding M&M Cookies to send to the three bloggers I was matched up with: Laura from Little House Big Alaska, Linda from The Orange Bee and Laura from Mother Would Know.

Guess what cookies I got?!?!

Chocolate Chocolate Mint Mint Cookies from Lisa at Garlic and Zest blog!  These cookies were so yummy!!  Click here to check out the recipe!

Next, I got one dozen Almond Biscotti from Pavani at Cooks Hideout Blog!  These were perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning!  You can find the recipe on Pavani’s blog by clicking here.

And the last dozen cookies I received were from Chef Sarah from Chef Sarah Elizabeth blog!  Sarah sent me these yummy S’mores Cookie Cups in a pretty holiday tin and even put a cute donut ornament in with the cookies too!  What a sweet surprise!  You can get the recipe for these cookies by clicking here!

And if you want to see the collection of all the cookies all the food bloggers made, head over to The PinterTest Kitchen to check out all the yummy recipes!

I can’t wait to participate in this cookie exchange again next year! It was so nice getting to “meet” six fellow bloggers!  I love the blogging community and how we all support each other!  It’s fun checking out other blogs and the recipes they make!

I am always wanting to learn more, whether it’s about blogging or baking.  Speaking of learning, I was checking out Creativiu, which is a website that offers online courses for a variety of different subjects.  But what caught my eye was their cake decorating courses.  Great prices, you get to take the class at your convenience, there is access to an instructor to ask questions AND you can come back to the course at anytime!  This would be a fun (Christmas) present for yourself or the baker in your family!  You can check out the class by clicking on the link here.

And don’t forget to sign-up for the free email subscription to my blog!!  That way you never miss a post!

I’ll be back in a couple days with a no-bake cookie recipe that will blow your mind….

XOXO,

Kelly Lynn
