Juicy Garlic Butter Cheeseburgers

Ground beef, garlic butter and burger seasonings are the basics needed to make this juicy cheeseburger.  But this isn’t your average cheeseburger!  I added garlic butter into the middle of my burger patties before grilling, so when you bite into that grilled-to-perfection burger, you get the taste of juicy garlic butter.

I used Chef Shamy Garlic Butter in my burgers, but you can easily create your own garlic butter by mixing room temperature butter with granulated garlic or fresh garlic, finely minced, to taste. Put butter back in the fridge to chill before stuffing into your burgers.

You can make these burgers at home or on a campout.  On a grill or cooktop.

Add your butter right there in the middle…

Add the other half of burger meat on top and close that pattie up, securing that butter in the middle…

Now off to the grill!

Juicy Garlic Butter Cheeseburgers

Print Recipe
Serves: 4 Cooking Time: 10-minutes

Ingredients

  • 1-pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic pepper (or your favorite burger seasoning)
  • 4 tablespoons Garlic Butter, cold
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

1

Preheat grill (or preferred heat source) to medium. In a large bowl, add the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce and burger seasonings. Use your hands to mix thoroughly. Portion out the ground beef into four 4-ounce balls of meat. Take half of a meat ball and pat into a pattie. Add a tablespoon of cold butter in the middle. Take the other half of your meat and top the butter, making sure the butter is covered completely by the meat so the butter can't escape during cooking. Salt and pepper both sides of your hamburger patties.

2

Place patties on the grill. Turn after 5-minutes. Add a slice of cheese on top of each hamburger once the hamburgers are close to done. Cook hamburgers until desired doneness (The USDA recommends cooking until an internal temperature of 160-degrees Fahrenheit is reached). Toast hamburger buns if desired.

3

Place a pattie in between a hamburger bun and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftover hamburger patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

You can just use regular butter! Add a teaspoon of garlic powder to the burger meat if you want that garlic flavor too.
