S’mores Seven Layer Bars

A spin off of the traditional 7-layer bar recipe, these s’mores seven layer bars have seven layers of course, but are all about s’mores! A graham cracker crust, a layer of graham cracker pieces, pretzels, marshmallows, semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips and smothered in sweetened condensed milk.

If you aren’t a fan of coconut (which is in the original 7-layer bar recipe), and you love s’mores, then you will have to try these bars. These are SO simple to make to. You just layer everything in the pan and bake. That’s it! This is a great recipe to make for a party too because it makes a ton!

Serves: 30 Cooking Time: 25-minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups fine graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 graham cracker sheets, broken into pieces
  • 30 large marshmallows, cut in half or 1-1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips or two Hershey's Milk Chocolate bars broken into pieces
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

1

Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the fine graham cracker crumbs and salt into the melted butter and mix until combined. Spread mixture evenly in the pan and press into an even crust. Layer the graham cracker pieces, marshmallows, pretzels, semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips or chunks over the graham cracker crust (evenly dispersing each layer). Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top of all the layers.

2

Bake in 350-degree oven for 25-minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let bars set completely before cutting into desired sized squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container, at room temperature. Bars stay fresh for 7-10 days.
