Sugar Free Edible Cookie Dough

Raw, edible cookie dough that is completely sugar free and has no added butter or oil!  After making a batch of (amazingly addictive) edible cookie dough, I decided to see if I could take some of that guilt away by making a sugar free version!  A little bit of a healthy treat, when you feel like being naughty.

This cookie dough recipe isn’t keto, but you could totally sub out the oat and all-purpose flour in the recipe below and just add increments of coconut flour, until the desired consistency is reached.  BAM!  Keto-approved!

And I used keto friendly chocolate in this cookie dough too!  Thanks to the folks over at The Good Chocolate and their amazing sugar-free chocolate!

Serves: 10 Cooking Time: 0-minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Swerve granular or confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup Swerve brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pasteurized egg substitute
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup oat flour (or all-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup quick oats (optional--- I liked the texture of the oats)
  • 1/4 cup sugar free chocolate chips or chunks (I used The Good Chocolate)

Instructions

1

In a large bowl, mix together the sugars, egg substitute, milk, vanilla extract, oat flour, all-purpose flour, nutmeg, salt, quick oats and chocolate. Once all the ingredients are combined, transfer the cookie dough into an airtight container. Place cookie dough in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Enjoy!

Notes

To make this cookie dough keto, leave out the oat flour, all-purpose flour and the quick oats. Slowly add coconut flour instead, until desired consistency is reached. If you want a healthier cookie dough, but do not care if it's sugar free or not, then you can also just use regular sugar. Or a mix of regular sugar and sugar substitute to lessen any artificial after taste.

Best way to eat this cookie dough? With a spoon, straight from the refrigerator!  Now because we do not bake this cookie dough, I felt like I could taste the after taste of the artificial sugar.  If you are sensitive to that taste, then YOU WILL NOT LIKE THIS COOKIE DOUGH.  Just a fair warning!!  Read the recipe and the notes….I included a few different options on making this!

XOXO,

Kelly
