7-Up Raspberry Punch and a Virtual Baby Shower

We are having a party on the blog today and you are invited!  One of my blogging buddies, Katherine from Love in My Oven, is having a baby girl and I got a group of our blogging friends together to throw Katherine a virtual baby shower.  What is a virtual baby shower?  It’s a party for Katherine, where all of the bloggers are sharing pink-themed recipes they made, to celebrate Katherine and her baby girl, that you get to enjoy from home without all the silly party games.

So it wouldn’t be a party without punch (alcohol free of course)!  This pink punch recipe is circa 1980-something from when my mom used to “make” it for our Girl Scout parties.  So easy and so good!  The pretty pink punch is great for bridal showers, brunches, baby showers and girly-girl parties.  All you need is 7-up, raspberry sherbet and fun pink colored candy.  Set a punch bar up, so guests can create their own pink punch.

The raspberry sherbet is key to this punch!

Add a scoop (or two!) of raspberry sherbet to your punch glass…

Now fill your glass with 7-up and watch it bubble!

7-Up Raspberry Punch

Print Recipe
Serves: 20 Cooking Time: 0-minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 (2-liter) bottle 7-Up
  • 1 quart raspberry sherbet
  • pink candy for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1

Scoop 1-2 scoops of raspberry sherbet into a glass. Pour 7-Up over sherbet, to the top of the glass. Decorate with pink candies. Drink immediately.

Notes

Best if served immediately. Option to scoop the sherbet into scoops in a punch bowl and pour the entire 2-liter bottle of 7-Up over the sherbet and let guests ladle their punch into glasses.

Decorate with your favorite candies!  I used licorice, raspberry gummy candies, freeze dried strawberries and cotton candy.

Such a fun punch recipe, right?!  And I don’t call it purp when I mix it pink 🙂

Now on to the virtual baby shower!  Meet our guest of honor: Katherine!  Katherine blogs over at Love In My Oven and is the proud momma to two boys and a soon-to-arrive baby girl!!

You don’t need to know Katherine to join in the fun, just enjoy all of the pink themed recipes the bloggers are bringing to the party!  Scroll down to see what the bloggers are sharing, and click on the links to hop over to their blogs to check their recipe out.
