Bars, Blondies & Brownies

White Chocolate Funfetti Brownies

The white chocolate version of brownies, made with white chocolate instead of cocoa powder or regular chocolate, and topped with fun sprinkles!  This is a super easy, one-bowl recipe that is rich and decadent.

I have so many brownie recipes here on my blog, but none using white chocolate.  So I had to fix that!   These white chocolate brownies are a fun Spring or Easter themed dessert that are party-perfect.

Just a few ingredients are all you need to make these “brownies.”  Get the best white chocolate chips you can find!!

Serves: 30-minutes Cooking Time: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white chocolate
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup funfetti sprinkles
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 tablespoons sprinkles

Instructions

1

Preheat oven to 325-degrees. Line an 8-inch by 8-inch bake pan with parchment paper and spray with baking spray. Set aside. In a large bowl add the white chocolate and butter. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stopping to stir at each interval until completely melted. Be careful because white chocolate can scorch quickly!

2

Add the white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract into the melted white chocolate mixture. Mix until combined. Stir the eggs into the mixture, one at a time. Stir in the flour, salt and sprinkles. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in 325-degree oven for 30-minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Top with additional sprinkles immediately after removing from the oven. Let brownies set in pan completely before cutting into squares.

Golden blonde and with a crackly top….immediately top your fresh-from-the-oven brownies with even more SPRINKLES!

Ya’ll will need milk with these.  So be prepared!

So what do white chocolate brownies taste like??  Rich, buttery and kind of like a blondie, but with a hint of white chocolate flavor.

XOXO,

Kelly
