Trendy Kitchen Gadgets that Aren’t Just for Christmas

Halloween is coming up, which means we all know Christmas is next. And with that comes presents. But it isn’t always easy to choose the right present for someone. For the foodies among us, however, there are some very trendy kitchen gadgets that are sure to bring a big cheesy smile to their faces all year round.

All-in-One Cookers

If you have a large family, cooking can be a nightmare. Family responsibilities and everyday life seem to eat all your time. As such, you have no time for messing in the kitchen. You want simple yet delicious meals with minimal effort. All-in-one solutions are the answer.

Devices like air fryers and pressure cookers can make large batches of food quickly and easily. Unfortunately, pressure cookers got a bad rep for being dangerous when they first came out. But newer models and the best air fryers for large family come with many safety features, including auto shut off and external heat reduction.

Home Pizza Oven

Most people love pizzas. In New York alone, over half a million pizzas are eaten every day. Yet, ordering from your favorite pie maker can get expensive. The solution; make your own. Making pizzas is a skill, yet it’s fun to learn, and you can make them your way when you know how.

But the trick to a great pizza isn’t solely how it’s made, but how it’s cooked. That’s where pizza ovens come in. At home, pizza ovens can reach much higher temperatures than your grill or oven. This is essential for even cooking with that smoky flavor you love. Therefore, it is recommended you hook your pizzas outdoors.

Chicken Rotisserie

If you have even purchased a hot, cooked chicken from your supermarket of choice, then you are aware of the tender and juicy meat. This is because rather than roast chicken, the food is cooked with direct heat on a rotisserie instead of indirect heat like an oven.

Direct heat can dry out food, whereas indirect keeps moisture inside. And the great news is you can pick up a home rotisserie very cheaply. So home rotisseries are a superb cooking alternative when you want something a little different. And you can cook other meats as well.

Hot Dog Toaster

Like pizzas, hot dogs are another widely enjoyed convenience food. The first hot dog stand was opened on Coney Island in 1870. But if you want hot dogs at home regularly, it might be a good idea to invest in a hot dog toaster.

A hot dog toaster is pretty much like a regular toaster. However, the design accommodates the unique shape of buns rather than standard bread for toasting. And there’s an additional compartment for placing your sausage, so they all cook at the same time. Yay!

Kitchen Top Ice Maker

What would a Coke be without lashings of ice? Although It’s just frozen water, ice cube costs can become expensive if you buy them a lot. That’s why bars and restaurants invest in buying commercial ice makers, so ice is always on hand.

Yet kitchen top ice makers are becoming a popular gift these days. They are small, but they make enough ice for a family, use hardly any electricity, and will drastically reduce your ice cube bill. So much so that it will have paid for itself within a year.
